What should the groom wear?
Keep the groom’s look simple: a ring and a bracelet such as the Men Finger Ring Royal (₹349) or the Men Bracelet Simple (₹499). Plain pieces blend with a sherwani, a bandhgala or a casual shirt.
How do you protect jewellery on location?
- Step 1: put it on last. Apply sunscreen, perfume and makeup first and let them dry.
- Step 2: keep it dry. Remove it before water, spray and rain; chlorine and salt water are the harshest on plating.
- Step 3: carry a spare. Pack a second pair of earrings and a clasp-friendly pouch.
- Step 4: pouch it between looks. Wipe each piece with a soft cloth and keep pieces apart so they do not scratch each other.
