Tanishka pieces are built on a nickel-free copper-alloy base and finished in multi-layer micro gold plating, 2–3 microns thick. To be transparent, it is gold-plated jewellery — not solid gold — so you pay for design and craftsmanship, not for the weight of the metal. Every piece is sculpted in CAD for the proportions and detailing of fine-gold jewellery, finished by experienced artisans, and plated in multiple layers for a warm, lustrous tone. Our pieces are made on a nickel-free copper-alloy base — nickel being the most common cause of reactions to fashion jewellery — so they are designed to be comfortable for everyday wear. Every skin is different: if you have a known metal allergy, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll gladly advise before you order.

Plating wears gradually with regular wear, and how fast depends on thickness, base metal, skin chemistry and care. We stand behind the colour for 6 months with our colour guarantee. To help it last: keep it away from perfume, water, chlorine and chemicals; put it on last when dressing and take it off first; wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth; and store it in its pouch or box, apart from other pieces. Every piece carries a written 6-month colour guarantee. If the gold colour fades within 6 months under normal wear, WhatsApp us a photo with your order details — we confirm your replacement (typically the same day) and dispatch it free within 48 hours. Buyback gives you part of your money back. Return a piece within 6 months of purchase for 50% of what you paid, within 6–12 months for 35%, and after that a minimum of ₹100 — with no expiry. You can return any piece within 7 days of delivery (unused, in its original packaging, with all parts). Message us on WhatsApp with your order number and a photo and we arrange the pickup; once it clears a quick quality check, your refund goes to UPI/bank or as store credit — usually within 5–7 business days. If your order arrives damaged or you receive a different design, send us a photo or unboxing video within 48 hours and we replace it at no cost.
